Dick Clark to Be Honored on New Year’s Eve

His “New Year’s Rockin Eve” event was a highlight of ringing in the New Year every December 31st, and this year the late Dick Clark will still be a part of the action, symbolically.

According to a report, fans will be writing messages on pieces of confetti that will be poured out on Times Square at midnight on New Year’s Eve.

The Times Square Visitor Center and Museum will handle the submissions, and folks can either deliver them in person, or write their well wishes online.

Dick Clark was the face of New Year’s Eve for four decades, and the Times Square Alliance credits him with being “instrumental in making New Year’s Eve at the Crossroads of the World what it is today.”
