It’s no secret that the pop music industry is fiercely competitive and Britney Spears is making sure she doesn’t fall prey to emotional decisions as she judges the new batch of “X Factor” hopefuls.
The “Toxic” songstress told press she’s a pretty tough customer when it comes to telling it like it is from her judge’s perch.
"I think I'm a fair judge. Sometimes it's hard because I know what they've been through and being so young and [wanting to] achieving their dreams."
She also noted that working with younger singers can be trying. "It's such a subtle and delicate situation when they're that young, so you just have to use constructive criticism and be there for them and just show them support."
Britney hopes to find a diamond in the rough that she can get behind 100%. "I'm really just looking for [someone who] shows spark and spunk and someone that's meant to do what they're doing and it shows."
