Bringing their superhero big budget film to the west coast, the stars of “The Amazing Spider-Man” took over the spotlight in Los Angeles, California on Thursday evening (June 28).
Co-star couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were front and center at the Columbia Pictures held premiere event held at Westwood's Regency Village Theatre.
Andrew, who plays the lead of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, suited up in a navy Balenciaga outfit while his Gwen Stacy portraying lady dazzled in a white Chanel number with red accents paired with Christian Louboutins.
Amidst the comic book themed hooplah, fellow castmates such as Martin Sheen, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary and Sally Field also took their turns walking the red carpet with fellow Tinseltowners such as Carmen Electra, Nathan Fillon, Boo Boo and Fivel Stewart, and Colton Dixon on-hand to catch the advance screening of the Marc Webb directed movie.
As for the latest installment from the big earning franchise, "The Amazing Spider-Man" sees "Peter Parker find a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. His path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner."
Talking about the film during a recent interview, director Webb told EW, "Ultimately, what this movie is about is a kid who grows up looking for his father and finds himself. And that's a Spider-Man story we haven't seen before."
Also staring Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan and Chris Zylka, "The Amazing Spider-Man" will be swinging into theaters next week on July 3rd.
