Going on a Twitter rant, Dominic Monaghan put his former "Lost" co-star on blast by accusing Matthew Fox of being a woman beater.
When a Twitter fan asked the 35-year-old "Lord of The Rings" actor to convince Fox to sign up for the social networking site, Dominic sharply replied, "He beats women. No thanks".
The same fan then followed up by asking Dominic, "I know it was wrong, but what?! What about all those good times you had together?!", the actor made it clear he and Fox are not friends by tweeting back, "how do you know we ever did?you don't know either of us.he beats women.not isolated incidents.often.not interested."
A source close to Fox tells TMZ that he and Monaghan "have not spoken for years" and that his rant is "baffling" considering the two have never had any sort of obvious fall out, and that the 45-year-old actor, "never beaten a woman in his life."
In August of 2011, a heavily intoxicated Fox was taken into custody by the police after being accused of punching a bus driver, Heather Bormann, in the chest and crotch when she refused to let him on her vehicle.
At the time, Bormann told TMZ, "He just kept staring at me with his mouth wide open and not saying anything. I told him, 'You have to leave buddy. You are trespassing on my bus.'"
The troubled actor got off the hook without any charges being pressed against him for the assault, and earlier this month on May 7th Fox was arrested again on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence but was released later that day.
